The Broodwood FFA will be having a blood drive with the Blood Center of WI.  The drive will be on Wednesday, Oct. 18th, from 10:30-3:30.  Donors walking in the door at 3:30 can still give blood.  The blood collected by the Blood Center of WI stays in our area.  you can contact Mrs. Watters in the HS office to schedule an appt or walk-ins are welcome.  Students that are 16 years old can give blood as long as they have a permission slip turned in by a parent/guardian.  Permission slips can be picked up from Mr. Von Ruden.  Thank you in advance for your donation ~ The Brookwood FFA

Seniors that have not paid their $10 class dues to Mr. Mack need to do so ASAP.
 
We still have a number of Sophomores that owe $20 for class dues.  Please get that turned in ASAP.
 
DRIVER'S ED STUDENTS:  The driving schedule is emailed out & posted on the bulletin board in the HS commons.  Students should bring their permits with them EVERY DAY in case of a cancellation or Driving Stars may be able to come another day of the week.  

COMMUNITY DANCE!  Here is your chance to enjoy some of the diverse culture of our Hispanic-Latino community!  There will be traditional music to enjoy & food for you to try.  I guarantee this is the event you want to put on your calendar!  This event will help raise funds for our friends and family in Puerto Rico.  The dance will be held on Saturday, Oct. 21st from 6-11pm @ the Wilton Community Center.  Family friendly-All ages welcome.  Free-will donation for admission & food.
 
Yearbooks are on sale for $45 for a limited time!  You can pick up an order form in the HS Office.
 
UW-La Crosse is having an ARTS Day on Friday, Nov. 3rd so Juniors & Seniors can explore the available visual art, music, dance, and drama majors.  you will meet current UWL students and faculty in the arts.  Register at www.uwlax.edu/acday by Oct. 20.

Students may NOT stay after school unsupervised.  If a student has a sporting event/pep band/working concessions, they are to go home & come back to school unless they have supervision.

The High School Office does not open in the mornings until 7:45.

Picture re-take day is Oct. 26th.

Due to parent/teacher conferences, our Veteran's Day Program will be on Nov. 9th, at 10:30 am, in the Classic Gym.

CHRISTMAS COMMUNITY CHOIR:  It's that time of year again.  We are looking for a few good folks in the area with a little extra time, talent and the willingness to learn new and some old Christmas music.  If you are interested, please call Deb Anderson @ 633-2117 or email dandersonsings@hotmail.com for more information.  We will be starting NEXT Wednesday, Oct. 18th @ 6:30 pm at the Faith Congregational Church in Wilton.  This is a great way of getting into the spirit of Christmas & maybe meet some new people!  Hope to hear from you!

WINTER SPORTS SIGN UPS

Students who plan to participate in winter athletics need to make certain that they have met all requirements, including a physical, online registration, online handbook, and concussion testing.  No participation is permitted unless these requirements are met.  Contact Mr. Clinton with questions.
