Students: Work on getting to class on time, please!  If you have 3 tardies so far, Mrs. Funk will email you.  If you have 4 or more, Mrs. Funk will talk with you this week and will assign a detention.  Make it a great day!

All Students: It's crunch time!  Mid-quarter reports run this Friday, Dec. 13, at 8 am!  Get your work in, study hard, and make sure you're in good academic standing.  See your teachers for help if you need it!

Students in Grades 9 & 10: A representative from UW-L's Upward Bound program will be here Friday during AT.  This program provides tutoring, college visits, ACT prep, Saturday events, a summer program, and more!  It's ABSOLUTELY FREE!  Students travel to different cities! AND you get some money for participating in activities!  Come to the library Friday during AT to see if you qualify and if the program interest you.  See you there!

Students: Just a reminder, if you've been tardy to a class or to school 4 times or more, we'll be asking you to serve a detention!  Each additional tardy is one more detention.  This resets at the end of the quarter---but we have 6 weeks left of the quarter!  Please get to class on time.  Communicate with your teachers if you need to use the restroom toward the end of or toward the beginning of a class.  See Mrs. Funk if you have questions.  Thanks!

There is a sheet in the high school office where you can sign up if you would like to be on prom committee. Please sign up no later than Dec. 13th!

In order to be able to be on the committee

1) Dues must be paid before 12/20

2) You must be passing ALL your classes

3) Keep in mind that committee is in charge of set up and take down for the dance.

Auditions for the Theatre Program’s spring production of “The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe” will be on Sunday, Dec. 15th from 1:00-5:00 p.m. Students in grades 7-12 may audition for the 16 roles in this show. Students needing to schedule an alternative time to audition may do so by contacting the director. Copies of the play script are available in the library. They may be taken out for 24 hours.

This week’s Student of the Week is Berulo Rodriguez! Berulo has made positive strides since the beginning of the school year. He is regularly volunteering in class and asking for help when he doesn’t understand. Berulo is respectful and polite. Keep up the good work Berulo!!!
